Please remember when you complete your application you indicate whether you require an Enhanced or Standard CRB Disclosure and whether you will be working with children or vulnerable adults. 

Enhanced Disclosures are taking approximately 4-6 weeks and Standard 1-2 weeks to process from the date in which the CRB receive a correctly completed application form. 

Errors of any kind will delay the time that it takes to process your application! 

Please note that these timings are only an estimation and are not guaranteed, but Acorn Direct take all the necessary precautions to ensure that the applications are processed immediately and carefully monitored, providing the employer/organisation with regular progress updates.

We charge a £10 administration fee per disclosure for both volunteers and paid staff. However, in addition to this there will be present CBR rate for paid staff only. These figures apply to both Standard and Enhanced CBR checks.

Who pays how much and when?

If your employer is paying for your Disclosure then we will invoice them directly.

If you are responsible for your own fees we will invoice you.

Payment in both cases must be made before we send your application form to CRB.
